Yeah i got into Muir but the out-of-state cost is killer. i dont think im going to be going to ucsd. although i really wanted to go there. this is so tough, deciding between a full-ride scholarship uni or UCSD where i really wanted to go.

I was shock that only 650 people got into Muir.

I think Muir accepted more than 650 students. UCSD has a low matriculation late (~21%). Muir had to admit way more than 650 people.

kchen is completely right...so 5*650 would be what? 3250 or something?...and i'm a ucsd prospective math major...lol

i got muir.

2300 sat, 34 act, 790 math 2, 780 chem, 4.05 w.

mechrocket you got a 2300 on the SAT? why are you even worried about getting into LA? i mean obviously it's no guarantee, but you don't have too much to sweat...i'll take that over my 2130 anyday lol

I got rejected from Muir. Got into Revelle.. I'm not looking forward to those 3 calculus classes required for GE's. x(

I got into Muir with a 1910 SAT, 670 Math 2, 670 Literature, 3.7 unweighted GPA ('cause I don't know my weighted one).

Unfortunately, my parents won't let me go to SD because it's too far from home. =/ And I can't do anything about it. I want to cryy.

Yeah, I had a 1960 SAT, 29 ACT.. got into Muir, it was my first choice :-)

I mean, the Sierra Club? How cool is that..
