Got INNNNNNNN

Yay!

so, can anyone tell me about the campus/surrounding area/people/places..etc? I heard from someone from my school who actually lived near UMBC said that its pretty nice there.
I am planning to visit during this spring break, but want to have some sort of idea before i actually go.
Thanx

Machalatte.--congratulations on your admission! I loved UMBC but it seems people either really like it or don't like it at all. To me it seemed more modern and academic. It doesn't have the whole big sports team -rah --rah-- thing going on so if you want that, you may not like it. The setting is very pretty. It is set off on rolling land close to Baltimore. If you read "Barron's Profiles of American Colleges", which has been our bible for the past year, it has some interesting facts. University of MD College Park had 331 companies recruit on their campus of 23,000. UMBC had 997 companis recruit on their campus of 8,000.
I think that really says something about the school. It is also very international. Please let us know how you like it.

i applied to UMBC. i got into UMCP so maybe i should call up and tell them to throw way my app.
