<p>unlike most colleges, where Lit courses have high GPA means, Cal’s Phil department is rigorous with a capital R. (The courses and profs are wonderful, they just pride themselves on not giving out a bunch of A’s.) And of course, any college’s premed courses will be highly competitive.</p>
<p>BARD all the way. Especially when finances are just about the same.
Transfer from Bard to any of the schools you listed is not guaranteed, but very possible including Columbia.
