So I'm about to be a senior in high school and I just recieved my grades in the mail. I calculated my academic gpa and it's only a 4.0. My SAT scores weren't that good but I'm studying at the moment so I can try to increase them. What are my chances of getting into a good college? I'm stressing out. But I am part of the top 5% of my class.

4.0 based on what scale? weighted or not? its also hard to say without knowing your exact sat scores, and extra cirriculurs. Also a good college as in an ivy, or a school like michigan state. Remember all that is important is that you find a school right for you. If you would like to put more information down, and what schools you consider “good” post them here and i can give you a better answer.

4.0 on a weighted scale. &My sat score was 1440. That’s the only time I’ve taken it. I guess what I would consider good schools are UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UCSD, UCLA, UCSB, and any ivy. I would consider going to Sac state also. I’m taking almost all the hardest classes my high school has to offer, considering my high school isn’t really known as a good high school. For summer '09 & '10 i attended Academic Talent Development Program at UC Berkeley. For summer '09 i took first year japanese and for summer '10 i took AP Biology. This summer i’m taking classes at Solano Community College and I’m taking Art Appreciation. I’ve been playing badminton all three years of high school and I will continue to play it next year. &I was chosen to go to league for two of those years. & I’ve been on some clubs at my school.

ehh, sat and weighted gpa arent great. I like the fact you have attended these programs. what is your unweighted gpa i think u have a better chance at sac state how many clubs, and are you an officer in any?
