GPA at Brown for applying to medical school

Hi , I want to apply to medical school after Undergraduate studies.
I want to go to Brown but want to know if It will be easy to get a GPA of 3.7
I have heard it is very hard to get this GPA at University of Pennsylvania.
I am deciding between Penn and Brown for ED.
Any suggestions/comments would be welcome.

Do you absolutely love both Penn and Brown, and would be perfectly happy at either one? If not, you shouldn’t be applying ED. I’d say that more than 50% of the friends I had freshman year who came in thinking they wanted to go to med school ended up changing their minds, so you need to be picking a college because you love it there, not because you can get a higher GPA. If all you want is a good GPA to get into med school, your in-state public school will be much less expensive.

I’ll echo what Bruno said. If your main goal for college is getting a high GPA, then you need to go to a school where your stats place you in the top 5-10% of applicants. So, not the Ivies.
