Are there any GPA Cutoffs for admissions to USCGA. I am curious, if a 3.5 GPA coming in from another college is good for academy standards.

No there's isn't any specific cutoff...like all academies CGA uses a "holistic" approach to evaluating candidates. 3.5 sounds good though depending on all the other factors.

I am curious if anyone here coult tell me what the ideal GPA and SAT is for admission to the CGA. What is more important: Leadership potential, grades, SAT, clubs, personal merits? Thank you very much.

There is no "ideal" SAT score. Like all the academies the CGA looks at the whole person; i.e. GPA, SAT, leadership, sports participation, recommendations, interview(optional).
But to give you an idea, the current 4/c(Class of 2009) had an average SAT of 1280(old system). Not sure on the GPA but I would imagine 3.3 or higher is about right. But there is no set criteria to follow. If you want to PM your info I will give you an opinion of your chances.
