GPA Distribution

I've been looking around for this but can't seem to find anything. This passage on the Phi Beta Kappa page piqued my interests

So does anyone know what kind of GPA's qualify you to fall into those categories? Or really, does anyone in general know some kind of GPA to class % distribution or where I can find one?

I have a friend who was PBK after 3rd year: her GPA is 3.97 (2 A-'s basically)… So good luck with that? Dunno about 4th yrs though. I do know the average UVA GPA is 3.2: [UVa - Undergraduate Grade Point Averages](http://www.web.virginia.edu/iaas/data_catalog/institutional/data_digest/acad_gpa.htm) and how 40% of A&S make Dean’s List [UVa - Undergraduate Suspensions](http://www.web.virginia.edu/iaas/data_catalog/institutional/data_digest/acad_deans_list.htm)

Yeah I saw those, kinda useful.

Thats intense about your friend. I can’t see that happening for me at all, but we’ll see.

Anyone know anything else?

yea she’s crazy. i saw that on her resume and was, like… woahhhhhh what. she’s majoring in cs and minoring in math to top that off, by the way, so it’s a crazy accomplishment.
