<p>Yeah, I think it depends on the university/college... for example, Cornell says "Although your transfer course grades are used by the admissions transfer counselor to make admission decisions, they will not be calculated into your Cornell GPA."</p>
<p>although GPA does not transfer, if you apply to graduate schools such as medicine or law, they will check all grades including ones from community college.</p>

<p>That is the scary part, meaning that you cannot slack off just because you had already sent in your UC application. Yikes! This is something that I need to keep in mind.</p>
