GPA or junior year classes?

Hi I am a soon to be junior who is looking into the premedicine field but my GPA is not too good. It was a 93.625 freshman year and then sophomore year I got a 95.625. I took Biology and Honors chemistry already and my schedule as of right now is: AP Art History, AP Microeconomics, APUSH 2, Honors ANATOMY and Physiology, Honors Physics, Honors Precalucus, and Honors English 3. I have yet to take AP bio whichem I understand is very important, but with the schedule I have right now seems good to me. Is this schedule rigorous enough because with it I can genuinely improve my GPA to somewhere around a 100 at the cost of waiting to take AP bio my senior year or should I take AP Bio my junior year and take out two of my electives(it is a double block class). My goal is to get into a good premed program or maybe a 7 year program straight out of high scool and I was looking for one’s opinion on my schedule. Please respond this is really important to me being that I’m unsure of whethere or not to take AP bio or not. Thank you and all responses mean something!

Well, first of all, you can go to pretty much any school in the country and pursue a pre-med track and get into medical school. Could you give us an idea of what schools you may be interested in? If you are considering looking into a BS/MD program, then I would suggest checking out the specific forum for that.

As long as you have a year of biology, physics, and chemistry done, I would take AP Biology senior year. Anatomy and Physiology can be time-consuming (lots of memorization) and physics, as well as other APs you are taking. I would take AP Biology if you’re interested in it, not just because you think it will look well.
