Hey I have a quick question. I was wondering if having around 3.4-3.6 first semester and having much higher 3.8-4.0 by midterms second semester will hurt my chances at all for georgetown. one of my teachers refused to give above a B+ which was a killer. I was just wondering if it was the avg. of first semester and up to midterms of second that the adcoms consider? Any help is more than appreciated. i am at nyu and am reallly reallly wanting to go to georgetown. Thanks in advance and good luck on finals to everyone!!!

if you are applying for fall of next year, which is very early mind you, they will not likely see anything you do second semester of this year. getting a 3.4 would certainly hurt your chances and preclude you from being a strong applicant, getting a 3.6 wouldnt hurt as much
