GPA Recalculation

<p>Does the University of Minnesota Twin Cities recalculate a student's GPA for only the 10th and 11th grade years?</p>

<p>I know that some universities do this, so I'm not sure how exactly it works. My school has been calculating GPA since 7th grade and it accumulates. To standardize it more, do they recalculate it the same for everyone?</p>

<p>If they do not recalculate it, do they consider your 10th and 11th grades more than previous years? Does anyone know if they consider 12th grade grades at all (at least the first quarter)?</p>

<p>I believe they consider 9th-first semester/quarter of 12th for admission. (they will certainly look at 2nd semester of 12th for admitted students, but not until end of the school year)</p>
