<p>if someone got 2b's first semester and 1B second semester of freshman year, does this mean they lots their chance for getting in columbia? is a 3.8 good enough?

<p>Calm down you’re not even an upperclassmen yet.</p>
<p>Freshman year is the least influencial to admissions. A few “Bs” is fine. There is room for improvement without a long climb to dig out your GPA. It’s a bit early to be stressing on this site but the fact that you’re aware of the need for decent grades is a good sign. Take it easy and prepare for your next year.</p>
