<p>I think you'd have a hard time getting into an Ivy League without both to back you up.</p>
<p>A high GPA and low SATs look like there's grade inflation at your high school. A low GPA and high SATs look like you're a smart student who's not motivated to work hard academically. Neither one is a good thing. Ivies have applicants who have high GPAs and high SATs, in abundance, and the majority of them still get rejected. If you don't have both, unless there's something extraordinary about your application, any Ivy will be an enormous reach.</p>
