<p>all honors or aps that colleges will take as being considered a "college course" u add one extra point. so if i got a B in AP CALC AB which is 3 points, id give it 4 instead since its an AP class colleges accept. if i got an A, then id give myself 5 points. But some schools cap how many points extra you can have, others have differnet ideas on what classes are weighted or not which u have to find out urself</p>

<p>It depends on your school. Some schools give a whole point. Mine only does .3 for both honors and AP. I would make sure your unweighted gpa is high, as colleges won't just look at gpa, but look at grades.</p>
<p>most privates do not reveal how they even calculate your gpas...so it's quite pointless to even wrry O.o</p>
