Gpa?

What does a 96% convert to on the 4.0 scale? A 95? 94?
My school doesn't use the 4.0 scale so I was wondering where I stand in relation to everybody else. Thanks in advance!

Well it doesn’t work out perfectly like that. In theory, all of the grades above would get you a 4.0. However, the way calculating a GPA works is that each individual grade from each class is assigned 4.0, 3.7, 3.5, etc and then you average those individual GPAs together so it can work out a bit differently.

It depends on the school.

I know for my school they convert it proportionally, although they never really give out GPA unless absolutely necessary. Therefore, it is impossible for anyone to get a 4.0, no matter how high the GPA because you cannot get above a 98.5 on the 100 point scale!
