Why is the 4-year grad rate (38%) at stevens so low? and the 6-year grad rate (78%) relatively high?

Because almost half the students are on co-op. They usually graduate in 5 years with a year of work experience.

Stevens has a co-op program? @chardo

http://www.stevens.edu/sit/admissions/careers/coop.cfm

Almost every engineering school has a co-op program.

Does it apply to the management school? @chardo

I think just engineering. Maybe engineering management. Why do you want management at Stevens?

They offer one of few undergrad quant finance programs in the nation! Just curious…do you go there?

No I don’t go to Stevens. There are quite a few undergrad quant finance programs, they’re just not all called that. Look within the math and finance departments of your favorite schools. You will often find a track for QF, or a major with the words finance and math (Financial Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, etc.). Sometimes it’s Financial Engineering. They’re all basically quant finance.
