In February I applied to be considered as a first year grad student at NYU SCPS for my M.S. in Global Affairs/Transnational Security. I was wondering what you think my chances are of acceptance. My stats: currently finishing my B.A. in Political Science/Comparative Politics with my overall GPA being a 3.7, I’m a white female, strong resume that highlights my vast amount of work and intern experience, a well written personal statement, 1 professional recommendation from Senator Schumer’s regional director, and lastly, 1 academic recommendation from my professor who was my mentor when I conducted my senior thesis (he’s also a professor at NYU SCPS for the program I’ve applied to). No GRE was submitted since the program does not require it if your application is strong, plus they never reached out to me to submit test scores.
