Hi,

I have just finished my 4-year Computer Engineering Degree at the University of Toronto in Canada and I wish to apply for a decent grad school.

But, my CGPA is actually quite horrid... I have a 2.83. However, in my final year of studies, I managed to get a 3.42 (A 2.83 in the first term, and a 4.0 in the second term).

Some other things to note are that in my winter term, I took 2 graduate level courses, and 2 pure engineering design courses (ie. independent practical work emphasis rather than theoretical concepts).

My GRE scored 1540 as well. (800 Q, 740 V).

My first 3 years of studies however have really tarnished my record, not counting my final year, my first 3 years CGPA come out to 2.51...

Is there ANY chance of me getting into any grad school in the US?

(Also, is there any grad school in Canada that can accept me as well?)

Still hoping,
Stephen
