Hello all,
I am a senior right now in college. Studying accounting. My cumulative GPA is 3.5 and my major GPA is 3.8. I am looking to go to grad school for accounting. My school has a CPA track, but I have heard nothing but bad things about it. Also I go to school away from home. I am from Michigan and I attend undergrad in Wisconsin. (UW-Milwaukee). My goal is to get into Michigan States Accounting MS program. Since I did not go to undergraduate school there, are my chances severely limited? I have several letters of recommendation from supervisors and two faculty members. I have internship experience from a well respected public accounting firm. I understand that GPA isnt everything and that GMAT and GRE scores need to be at a certain level, but does anyone have any experience in getting into a different grad school than your undergrad school?
Any information is helpful
