Hey everyone,
This upcoming may i will graduate from a bachelors in Chemistry from the university of Maryland college park, a really good institution.

Chemistry for me is not something that I want to do for the rest of my life, although I like it, and certainly not any other sciences. The only reason that my BS. is in chem is because I was uncertain my first years in college in what to do, so I decided chemistry.

However, this past year I have been working in an IT services desk, and not just that but I really enjoy and very interested in anything that has to do with computers or tech..

So I was looking at a masters in IT which does not really require prereqs, and I really want to do that.
However, will employers look at me the same way since I have a chem degree, I don't want either degree to go unoticed because its not a breeze to get through college or graduate school. Will I be still considered the same as other applicants after grad. school..

Some people tell me that i actually have an advantage being in two different areas as I could work in a healthcare place in IT management, and that i wouldnt be ruled against in IT area because i have a different major.
Others say that I shouldnt because their two different areas.
I dont know what to do.
