I'm new to this grad school thing and I have absolutely no clue about anything related to grad school. I am currently a college junior psych major and neuro minor. I'm kinda interested in a phd certificate program now (I'm assuming this is my best option for finding a job?)
1) I would have to take the GRE if I continue my education. Buti know itching about the test
2) I am looking for a fairly small program but with lots of people to network with and eventually will land me a decent job.

Would somebody please give me some guidance? The unknown is killing me!

A PhD certificate program? I’m not sure what that is.

If you want a job, find a job. You don’t need to go to graduate school to get a job; most people who work don’t have a graduate degree. A graduate degree (MA or PhD) should only be pursued if you have a specific purpose - for example, high school counselors have to have an M.Ed, and lawyers need to have a JD. But if you just want a decent job, try to get an internship or a part-time job and gain some skills; visit your college’s career center, and do some Internet research about jobs you might like.

2) It’s impossible to answer this question without knowing what kind of program you want. Do you want an MA in psychology? (A bad idea, IMO, unless you specifically want to be a mental health counselor.) Social work? Public administration? Are you talking about a post-baccalaureate program in psychology? (Also a bad idea, since you are already a psychology major, unless your grades are really really low.)
