Shortly after grades were posted last semester I e-mailed my TA questioning my grade. I had originally gotten a "C" in the course, but the TA said he messed up and had to fix it via snail mail paperwork to change it to a "B". My grade on utexas.com still says "C" in the course. When will my grade change? Ty.

I had a grade change in December for a grade from last spring. After the decision was made to change it, it took about three weeks for it to show up online. Hope that helps.

Hmm… You seem to be in the same position I was in a few weeks ago. What I would do is talk to your professor directly. My TA said he would tell the professor to change my grade in December. I went up to my professor the first week of class this semester to “remind” him and it was changed a few days later.

Your TA can’t change your grade, so I would talk to the professor. If you have an e-mail exchange with the TA about the grade change, forward that to the professor when you ask about it. Assume that the professor never heard anything about it from the TA and that he’ll check with the TA before he replies to you. But the TA is right that grade changes are done by filling out paperwork that gets routed through the dean’s office – they can’t just change a grade online.
