Grade deflations?

Is it really true what they say? About grade deflations at BU?
I saw it posted on CC and on other websites, but they seem alittle outdated. I’m just wondering if it is still going on now.

Experiences?

And will this affect my chances of getting into a good med school? I’m hoping to go into one of the ivies.

It’s really true. All of it. I did hear a rumor once, when I was at BU, that an acquaintance of a friend of a friend had a GPA over 3.0, but I don’t believe it. It’s pretty much impossible. Even if you get all the answers on a test correct, they give you a C.

BU’s grade deflation will destroy not only your shot at going to an Ivy League med school but also all chances of getting any job at all. If you go to BU, you’ll probably die homeless and alone.

Ouch… i know you’re joking. But i dont know about the grade deflation. Can anyone else confirm this?

This question has been posted about before. If you search for it on this thread you should be able to find it.

:)

Lol I know a lot of people who have a GPA over 3.0, including me. There is grade deflation at BU, but it is only really apparent in the large science courses, from what I hear.
