Grade drop crisis... chance me?

Hi! I'm a sophomore and I got B's in three classes (English, Chemistry, Spanish) this year. The rest were A's but these were my worst grades since fifth grade, so I'm really freaked out that won't make it to the colleges I'm interested in... which are... (I really hope these are realistic)

UCLA

Cornell

UC Berkeley

UC San Diego

I have extracurriculars such as piano, president of Red Cross club, Tae Kwon Do, a lot of volunteer hours, yearbook, chorus... but I'm really worried that my grades from Sophomore year will affect me... will it?

Keep up your grades throughout your junior year and you’ll be fine.

How are your SAT’s/ACT’s? Leadership roles are important, too, within your extracurricular activities. Focus a lot on your essay(s) as well.

UC Formula: 50% GPA, 35% Essay(s), 15% EC

Private Formula (all Subjective): But from my experience, you’ll need a solid GPA, powerful and personal essays (the ones that give you that warm feeling of satisfaction after reading the last sentence), and focused EC’s.

Best of luck!
