First semester grades just finished, and I finished with an A in everything…except a C in AP BC calc which dropped from a B because of the final. How does this affect my admission decisions for regular decision for schools like Boston university, Georgetown, and Washington university in St. Louis?
It depends on the whole picture. What is your GPA/test scores/Extracurriculars? One bad grade won’t ruin your chances if your whole resume is strong.
Currently, I am in AP Literature, honors organic chemistry, honor Spanish 5, AP Mechanics, AP BC Calculus, and AP Psychology. I do science bowl and volunteering, both at the children’s hospital and at my church and take piano lessons on the weekends. I got a 1520 on my SAT (34 on ACT but I didn’t send it anywhere) and up until this point my GPA was a 5.0 weighted, 3.9 unweighted
