Grades in school

Our Quarterly Exam Results just came out, and because of involvement with a certain presentation I had to do for the National Green Building Congress, that was held during the exams, I didnt have much time to study, and commit to memory.... So, my performance came down a little.... I got C's in two subjects, but thats the first time since I started schooling.... Will it be possible to explain this when I submit my application? Or will that affect my admission chances greatly?

Thanks

I have the same question. I know this will irritate you because, obviously, I’m not the one answering it; but I think that it will not hurt you, because they aren’t your final grades, you can improve those and they know it. I guess it would be nice to state why you couldn’t keep up in school, but do it with a tact; do not whine!

The original post is from 6.5 years ago. I suppose by now that the OP was either admitted or denied and has probably since graduated from college :-)
