Grades to maintain?

I just committed to SCU. I was wondering what grades I have to maintain my final semester of high school.

I have never gotten a C in high school, however this semester I have 3 B- that could easily lower to a C by the end of the semester.

Will my acceptance to Santa Clara be in jeapordy if i get a couple Cs?

I highly, highly doubt that your acceptance would be rescinded for a C or two. You should really try your best to keep your grades at least at a B- though. Also, keep in mind that they do really look at the whole picture in regards to each of its applicants.

If your grades dropped to a C-/D+ then that may signal their attention. But even then, I think you would still be accepted. Considering the values that SCU promotes, they’d probably just ask you to explain why you got a D+/C- as well as accept you under certain terms (i.e. retake course + maintain 3.0 GPA freshman year).

But really, I wouldn’t worry about getting a C or two. Just make sure you don’t get a D+.Try to get the B- Good luck!
