I have decided on 4-5(UofM, Yale, USC, Washignton Uni) schools but confused about the last one. I am an internatioal student with Bsc in Architecture from a UofM. My main concern is Scholarships at Graduate level. ( Normally its merit/need based for all incoming students)

criteria: Good scholarships and not too competitive

RISD (33% acceptance)
Pratt Institute
Parsons
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Uni of Pennsylvania (33% acceptance)

Financial aid in M.Arch programs is hard to come by. Don’t count on much more than $10-15 per year unless you offer something that the program really wants or needs.

You might also look at schools that have coop work programs like Cinncinnati or Northeastern.

Not clear what your question is about WUSTL. This is a solid program. I’d also suggest Virgina and Cornell.

In that case, you may want to consider crossing Parsons and (momrath’s suggestion of) UVa off the list. From the stats given at Open House events/tours, both are running at less than 10% acceptance rate. Parsons admitted 25 from a pool of 350, and UVa admitted about 30 from a pool of 500 (both 3+ and 2 yrs). While UVa’s acceptance rate didn’t surprise me, Parsons did.

I’m pretty sure Sci-Arc has a pretty high acceptance rate, if their approach appeals to you.

Also, don’t have any numbers on Pratt, but heard that it has a high acceptance rate as well.
