I am an incoming freshman at UCSD. I'm the first in my family to go to a UC. (My parents went to school in other countries) My plan was initially to double major in Economics and International Public Policy. However, I want to graduate in three years. I have 52 credits already from AP exams, thus giving me sophomore standing. Is this possible, and even worth it? I eventually want to be admitted to Columbia University's dual degree program (MBA & MIA) for graduate school, so would it be better to double major with the possibility of not graduating in three years? Or would I have an equal chance of getting in without the double major? Any help is truly appreciated :)
