Graduate School-Social Work or Psychology?

<p>I want to become a child therapist/psychologist.</p>

<p>Would it be better for me to get a PhD in psych or a Master's in Clinical Social Work (or even a PhD in social work)?</p>

<p>I've been doing research and what I've come to understand is that the psych PhD is more oriented towards research and the MSW is more towards teaching clinical skills.</p>
