I'll be graduating early (in 7 semesters) from Penn State University's Schreyer Honors College. I am a Marketing major and have a few options of where to work after I graduate in December.

I was wondering if graduating early would help me out in the application process after years of service or business experience. Let's just assume my gpa is competitive, same with recommendations, work experience and other factors like leadership/involvement in the college years.

It's important to note why I'm graduating early, though. I'm paying for school on my own and i've been working 20 hours a week for the past 3 semesters. I also realized I could graduate with interdisciplinary honors in two areas with my marketing major and a sociology minor. The only reason to stay the full 8 semesters would be to complete the second major, but since i'd be graduating with honors in that area, I decided against it (and because of the money i'd be saving!)

I know graduating early can't hurt me in the application process but I wanted to know what some of you who are more familiar with this think.

THanks!
