graduating early

i've heard that law schools look down on it because they fear that a 24 year old lawyer might not get a job so easily. personally, i have the option to graduate from northwestern in 3 years (currently have a 3.80 gpa, and though i'm not too far into it, i doubt it will fall much), but am hesitant to do so now. would an internship at a major national law firm the summer before my third year dispel an admission committee's fear?

btw, though i have a while before the process, i'd probably want to go to columbia or harvard.

It could not hurt. Most people here would suggest that you take year off rather than rushing yourself.

You know, I've just seen it as the sole possible explanation of some surprising (the bad way) outcomes. Check around, if you can -- this isn't something I've ever seen explained, but it just seems to matter. An internship would not matter for this purpose.

In any case, it's not productive to talk about specific schools until you have an LSAT score in hand.
