graduating early

how feasible is it to graduate a semester early from engineering if you walk in with credit from a few AP classes?

It's definitely possible in that Cornell would allow it-- a friend of mine (although an incredibly smart one, even at this calibre of college) is graduating in 2 years instead of 4 this semester. So it is possible, just a lot of hard work and smart studying.

It can be done.

I had a few friends who used AP credit to graduate early and I have one friend who had no AP credit and somehow managed to finish early...2 of them jumped right into the M.Eng program last semester.

Cornell accepts AP credit? I thought ivies didnt..

Cornell does. You won't learn all that much more in intro U.S. history than you did in AP, either at Cornell or at Harvard. I think one of the reasons why Cornell allows it is to allow students to possibly graduate early, meaning lower tuition costs.
