Graduating HS with an AA degree

I’m a sophomore in high school currently in MYP (of IB). I’m currently number 24 in my class of 300 and I haven’t taken any AP classes but I take all honors classes. Next school year I’m going to Middle College High School where I’ll finish up my highschool classes while mostly taking college classes at Durham Tech and I can choose the associates degree path. My question is how would this look on my college application with the associates degree after being MYP?

The colleges and universities you apply to will see that you have completed your last two years in dual-enrollment, and are on track to complete your AA degree along with your high school diploma. MYP isn’t important at all for them. Don’t worry about this.

But how beneficial would the Associates Degree be when colleges are determining whether to accept me or not?

Its not about the Associates Degree…it is about the courses you took and the grades you got.
If you have an AA I would apply to your state U so you can only go to school for 2 more years.

^ Yes. It shows rigor but the AA degree itself doesn’t play in admissions.
