Again and again I see past posts talking of how difficult it is to get classes and how hard it is to graduate on time… what fortified the idea even more was the 21% 4-year grad rate (http://content.kiplinger.com/tools/colleges/pubcollege.php?sortby=INRANK04&orderby=flip&states[]=CA&myschool[]=none&outputby=table) compared to most UC’s 50% 4 year gradrate
I have also heard that changing majors is difficult but possible
Can any current or past students please share your experience on this subject?
Is passing as an eng major in 4 or less years feasible? would time to graduate differ much to say, a similar UC? thanks!

I graduated last year and never had much of a problem getting classes. I'm not sure why so many people say this.

However, it is difficult to graduate in four years due to the amount of lab classes you have to take. I had far more labs than fellow science majors at UC's had.

I hear 5 year programs are popular and that many students are in tough majors like architecture which takes a while.

Giants, would you say that computer science may take a while longer at SLO?
