yeah, those are good reasons. I miss out on the "real world" i guess. Anymore answers?

mac: the shift/caps/tab/~/fn of my keyboard is sticky under i think due to spillage in the past. the shift key stayed down so i'd press caps and it'd go lower case then it would pop up and it's all caps. etc. werid

One of the major reasons I was able to attend my school is I got a great scholarship, but it's only good for four years. I'm not sure my parents would be able to afford paying for a fifth year for me here, especially since by that time my two younger sisters will be in college as well. There's no way I'm graduating in only three years, but I'm not planning on any longer than four.

Yeah, if the computer is a laptop (I'm assuming it is since you have Fn key) I wouldn't try to fix anything--playing with a laptop keyboard is hard.

If it's a huge trouble for you (it doesn't seem like it is but I'd be all OCD about it myself) just plug a USB keyboard in.

Well if somebody can graduate in 4 1/2 yrs double majoring + minoring (Fine Art + Math major I don't know her minor) I'm sure some of us can graduate in 4 yrs with one major... hopefully.

Just a point about Northeastern: There is a four year option for most majors with a co-op included (1 six month internship). But the five year option is more popular (3 six month interships). Students who choose the five year plan do not pay extra tuition for the fifth year. Also, the co-ops pay quite well (esp. for students majoring in engineering, business, computer science, and health sciences). The average Northeastern student earns about $50k over the course of 3 co-ops which really can help defray tuition costs. Most of the co-ops lead to permanent job offers at top companies and like Microsoft, EMC, Fidelity, Merril Lynch etc. There is also a traditional four year track for students in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) with no co-ops. But this is also less popular. Most CAS students will do at least one to two co-ops. In other words, for most majors at Northeastern, you can graduate in four years if you want (even if you double major).

I'd only be in a hurry if I knew exactly what I wanted to do. A lot of people rush out of college like a six-figure job is waiting for them. Unless you're majoring in Science or Math, there shouldn't be a rush out of school.

I would like to graduate in 3 years. Yeah I would miss out on the fourth year, but I really want to get to graduate school a little bit faster. I'm just not the type of person who like to do things the easy way. But I'll see in college if that's actually possible. It really depends on my major. If I major in a hard science I will probably take 4 years, but a different major and probably only 3 years.
