*high school senior here

I'm trying to graduate with honors with distinction and I know it means you have to graduate with getting a cumulative GPA of 4.0+.

Well I have a 3.8889 GPA now (from 9th-11th weighted) and I've done the calculations and if I end up getting straight A's for both this semester and next semester, my cumulative GPA will be above a 4.0. Even if I end up getting one B and all A's for both the upcoming semesters, I'd still have it above 4.0.

But what cumulative GPA do they measure it by?? Do they measure it from 9th grade all the way up to the very last semester of senior year? Or do they only measure it from 9th grade to the first semester of senior year?? If that's the case, there's no way I'd possibly be able to get above the 4.0 and I would get a 3.996 GPA and I would be SO upset.

I know it probably depends on schools, but what was it for your school?
