Graduating with honors?

Right now, I'm sophomore, and I don't really know what I want to do after my undergrad years, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to do a double major in linguistics and French. One of the options I'm keeping open is grad school (hence my post here), but does it matter what I get honors in? I want to go for honors in linguistics, but, if anything, I think I'll wind up going for a French masters in order to teach French in high school. Obviously grade schools would prefer to see me have honors in French if I'm applying to a French program, but does it really affect anything? Is honors still honors regardless of what I'm applying for?

Another question (unrelated to the thread topic): Are there many people (or anybody for that matter) who study for both the LSATs and the GREs?

This is probably a question for a professor (I’ve only been on one side of admissions), but I would say that yes, it probably does matter a bit. The important thing about Honors is that you completed a significant piece of research, and for grad school that should preferably be in your area of study. It makes an excellent writing sample.

Yes. Besides the people who aren’t sure what they want to do, several schools offer JD/MA programs.
