Do most UCB students graduate within four years? I ask this because it seems impossible to get into certain classes needed for one's major since some classes fill up so quickly.

Thanks.

It seems hard to get in classes when you're a freshman, it gets much easier later on.

As for the graduation rates:
Rate in 4 years: In 2001 it was 60.9%
Rate in 6 years: In 2000 it was 88.9%

To answer your question, "most" graduate within 4 years. (google: graduation rate berkeley)

yah, most of the people who stay longer than 4 years stay for a semester, and mostly because they want to (some wanna stay in the playground that is undergrad, some want to take some cool classes, learn a new language or finish up their double major without overloading their last semester). at least those are the ones i meet who are "super seniors"

i dont understnad how you cant graduate in 4 yrs if you tried at all...i guess it may be harder for a science/engineer major, but for social science/humanities majors, it is VERY easy to get the classes you need to graduate in 4 years....even 3 years should not be hard at all...i know people who finish up social science majors in 2-2.5 years

like omg. srsly.

teh Sci3nc3z/t3ch/m4th ftw

It should be easy with one major. Double majors usually complete an extra semester.
