Ok, so in my school, the standard sequence for a student's science classes is as follows:
Freshman- Physical science
Sophomore- Biology
Junior- Chemistry
Senior- S choice between Physics, Anatomy, Environmental science AP, or any of the above classes at the AP level

However, I started one year ahead in science (taking Biology as a freshman) and now I'm a junior taking Anatomy honors. Normally, my school insists that all students take physics before they graduate. However, I just got my "draft" schedule for next year, and my science class is listed as Environmental Science AP (what I asked for).

This may be a fluke or just a special exception, but either way, this means that I could graduate without taking physics. What do you think about this? Here is my personal understanding of the pro's and cons:

Pros: Environmental Science is an AP class, while Physics is only honors (I need as many AP's as possible). I absolutely hate math but I love the environment. Environmental Science is supposedly easier.

Cons: Don't most schools want you to have taken physics? If this is true, not taking it could obviously be bad. This is the only con I can think of.

You should take physics though. You might not be able to graduate without it. Since you stink at math, just take general physics. Generally, a normal leveled class is very easy. And you get a textbook that actually makes sense instead of a college one.

The course timeline is identical to our schools’. I am not planning on taking physics… Unless you are an aspiring math or Sci major and it is required for graduation then no it won’t matter. If I were you I would take Physics and self study APES.

Could you double up in science? The way my schedule is I’ve been able to double up in Math and or Science freshman year on, it’s worked well for me and might be a solution for you.

wait so are you saying that you can’t graduate without taking physics ?!
because I signed up for AP environmental science my senior year instead of physics !

My school is like this:
Freshman: Biology
Sophomore: Chemistry
Junior: Physics
Senior: aquatic science, environmental sci, (there is like 9 sciences to choose from)
I think that if it isn’t required, then they won’t care
