Graduation in January?

I hate my high school and there is not much in preventing me from going to college a semester early. I have enough credits and everything so that is not the issue. I am just concerned because I have only taken AP English language. Also, I may not be able to receive financial aid and I may need it due to immigration process. Also, I am not sure if senior activities are going to be worth it. I know colleges look at the classes you take so should I just wait for another semester and take APs?

Why not graduate in August? :stuck_out_tongue: I was given that option lol. I decided to stay. I mean, it could look good to graduate early, colleges will probably understand that by graduating early you couldn’t take all those extra APs. At the same time, I hear all our teachers complaining that early graduation is a bad thing, so Idk. I think it depends on what you’re aiming for. Like, if you want to go to an Ivy or some really top college, I’d suggest staying. If not, you can leave. Worst case scenario, do well your first year in college, then transfer to your dream college. The downside is, if youre in need of financial aid, all those APs in senior year could potentially allow you to save some money. Also, you get to go to senior activities, regardless of when you graduate.

I do not care about senior stuff. I am aiming for a cuny or suny at the moment

Well, look up CUNYs and SUNYs and see their admission requirements. If you have all they need, then maybe you should graduate early.

Thats what i will be doing
