<p>guys, the answer as per book is "IS" ( gerunds as subjects) but i think that it must be "are" coz ther is AND betwen two gerunds, which makes the subject plural as a whole ... pls gv ua suggestions</p>

<p>You’re talking about the introducing, NOT the many ideas. That’s the important part here. You’re being tested on recognizing the subject of complex sentences.</p>
