Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about the Graphic Design programs at Xavier (Cincy) or The University of Dayton? I have been accepted to each of these schools, but I haven’t visited yet! I’m looking for some advice.
I didn’t know either one had a graphic design program, and I live in the local area.
Did you apply to UC by chance?
UD’s is a BFA program. I think UD is an excellent school but don’t know anything about their Graphic Design major.
Sorry, at both these schools there is no direct area for just a School of Graphic Design. I didn’t want to go to an art school like SCAD or Art Institute and I wanted a school with more well-rounded activities such as sporting events, etc. If I wanted a communications major, I could specialize in Graphic Design - I guess. I have a feeeling neither of these schools is a good choice to come out prepared for a job in Graphic Design. And, I’m SURE UC is a much better choice for this type of field, but I didn’t apply and it seemed too big.
Thanks for replying to my question. It’s now obvious to me that I should stick with a different school - Bradley University, where I was accepted first.
