GRE and MCAT

I know it's early to ask this question considering I'm a high school senior transitioning into a college freshman but the early bird gets the worm, eh? Glad you agree with me, soooo...

Questions:
1. What is the GRE? Overview, please?
2. What is the MCAT composed of? (I know what it is) Overview, please?
3. When does one usually take either test?
4. Is it usual for one to take BOTH tests or either one of each?
5. Does anyone know any good review books for each of these tests?
6. Thank you?

What are planning on majoring in grad school?

What do you want to grow up to be?

Verbal/Math/Writing

For 2015, MCAT is changing so Gen Bio/Gen Chem/Gen Physics/Organic Chemistry/Psych/Sociology

Depends when you apply, if you want to apply for the cycle during your senior year of college, you would take it sometime during your junior year or summer before senior year.

One or the other.

There are plenty of review books, go search for old threads or even go to the bookstore and judge for yourself.

Well, I’m planning to be an oncologist and want to major in biochemistry and molecular biology.

Then you would take the MCAT, apply to medical school and call it a day.

LOL. Thanks so much, AMX. :)
