GRE and Practice Exam questions

Anyone know where I could get practice exams that are extremely close to (in content) the real GRE? Also, is 1-1.5 months enough time to study for the GRE? Do you guys suggest taking it twice?

ETS offers PowerPrep software on its site that has a practice exam that uses the same computer screens you will see on test day.

i think the optimal time is 3 months, as most “experts” would say. And by experts I mean the soothsayers over at Kaplan, Princeton Review, Manhattan Prep etc. etc. I personally took 7 weeks to study and I came out fine. I also took it the first year the new GRE came out which was kinda hectic cause not alot of new gre books were out then. As far as practice tests go, the PowerPrep ones the only one you’ll get that’s “extremely close”. You can cannibalize older GRE exams for specific questions but not all the topics will be there. Personally I thought the Barron ones were pretty close, slightly more difficult though, which is always good. PM me if you want some study material suggestions.
