gre test question

I am planning on taking the gre's in a few weeks and have done numerous practice paper tests and they all are 2 essays, 2 quant and 2 verbal sections. Since i will be taking a computerized test in a few weeks, i thought i should do a practice test in that format. I downloaded the powerprep software and took the test. It only seemed to have 1 math and 1 verbal section in it. Was that practice test just shortened for some reason or is the actual test that length? Thanks in advance for all of the answers.

Hey, gx,

The GRE consists of two essays (one issue, one argument), one quantitative section, one verbal section, and one “bonus” section (it can be any of the above; I got two issue essays, for example). One of the sections you double up on is not graded, but you’re not told which one–so make sure you do your best on every section you’re given.
