True. But at Northeastern she would still have the “Boston experience” which is an important factor to many students.
From the article it appears that doing a coop is not common at BU, even in the business school.
And before others chime in, a summer internship is not the same as doing a six-month coop.
Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ - across the river from Manhattan - has also been doing co-ops very effectively for several years now. The co-op idea is catching on. Kids love the location, and easy access to Manhattan.
