I want to major in public health with an emphasis on disease control...so i suppose the closest major would be immunlogy or microbiology..

Please evaluate my chances, and add or subtract schools from the list

Thanks in advance.

Your ecs are very weak. I have an offer for you to get a better ec. Just PM me.

that's great, thank you...but no need to state the obvious. The whole point is to look at the colleges, not to TELL me my stats suck.

And you need to work on being less creepier..."Just PM me"??? Haha, yea right.

i don't get how people can say that a 2100-something is a 'sad' SAT score. god. how lame.

Your ecs are weak for all the colleges you are applying to. I just gave you an offer, if you dont like it, thats your loss, not mine. Dont just apply based on stats.

Sorry about that, Enjoi! I know you were only trying to help...forgive my blowing up at you.

By the looks of it, it would have probably been some political thing, which I am just not that into.

Anyways, the reaches list is just tentative...In the end, I probably would just pick two from there.

alisonk--if you had have spent as much money on SAT prep courses as my parents did, it IS kind of a sad score.

I think you have a very good chance at UChicago.

... You realize it's Eleanor Rigby, right? ;)

yeah, but the name was taken...:-(

My favorite song in the whole world, though!

bump.....bump....

For Public Health, look at George Washington University in DC, my rowing coach went there for that specific reason.

Oh no offense, I just meant that in my opinion those are darn good scores x_x

Review course or not, you're being unreasonable if you think 2120 is bad.

I second that.

And also, I would avoid being rude to the people that are advising you---it is indeed you who asked for their advice in the first place, am I mistaken?

I don't get how the ECs are very sad. What exactly are the admissions people expecting? Do they only want people who play numerous sports and are captians, class presidents, volunteer at numerous activities? His/Her ECs don't look terrible. Maybe a little more school involvement.

tulane should accept you. stats driven admission i believe.

a 2120 is not a sad SAT score...

okay.

Like I said before, i WAS sorry for being rude...It's just hard sometimes for me (and for other people as well) to take constructive criticism the right way. You have to understand, I put myself out there for everyone to see, which is hard at any age, let alone at 17, and I can still be a stubborn kid at times. I DID apologize to Enjoi afterwards. Sincerely.

I think I should change the title of the thread, seeing all the complaints it has drawn...
