<p>I am in Greek life so I can honestly answer this question with experience. Hazing is illegal point blank period. But everyone’s definition of hazing is different it could involve abuse or it doesn’t. Will some sororities or fraternities do it? Yes unfortunately. You have to find the right group and use your judgement . If they say they don’t haze take that with a grain of salt. Now that that is said. Greek life is a great thing. Personally it made me concentrate on what’s most important to you instead of slacking off. It gets you involved in philanthropy and charity and helps you find yourself and passions believe it or not.
