Greek student seeking guidance

Hello

I am a student from Greece in the 10th grade (graduating 2013).

This year I took the decision not to apply for a local university and go to study abroad (in the US ,UK ,or Canada).
I actually aim at some very prestigious universities and I would like some guidance.

Next year I am probably going to be enrolled in a Full IB diploma at a local private school.
So I see many colleges specify their IB grades requirement while others make things much more fuzzy.

I am thinking of taking English SL ,Math HL,Physics HL,Chemistry HL,and Economics SL.

Plus some requirements like TOEFL SATs or IELTS cannot be waived and do they require more

Grades:
I had a relatively mediocre grades record in the 9th grade about 15,5/20 ->3.1 GPA.
This year things seem a lot better.

Extracurriculars :
Actually there is some lack of opportunities here ,so I have to search for others abroad (thanks E.U !!!).
As far as now I have only been volunteering for a since exhibition andI am working on some of my projects.
I am also going to apply for the first step Nobel prize physics research competition.

I am really passioned about engineering and science .I like to build electronic circuits ,program in C++ ,and I was attending some advanced math lectures at the national mathematics society.

Can you give me some general guidance and some feedback about my grades and extracuriculars?

Thanks in advance
:-)
